WHY PRACTICE STAND UP PADDLE IN DENIA?

Although kite45 is a kitesurfing school and club, we also promote other adventures in the sea such as Stand up Paddle or Paddle Surf known as SUP. Do you want to learn and practice with us?

But what is SUP? It is an entertaining discipline derived from surfing, which consists of standing on a larger board , having to use a paddle to be able to move and navigate either in the sea, rivers and even lakes.

If you want to experience this new adventure, explore the beaches with your family or friends, here are 5 reasons why you should practice this water sport.

  1. It is an excellent exercise to develop balance, since when standing to maintain balance on the board you will have to work on strength and resistance.
  2. It is a super inclusive sport, it has no age limit for its performance, you do not need to be in good physical condition and even if you have some kind of physical limitation, you can practice it too.
  3. It is an entertaining family adventure and a new way of exploring the beaches, on its waters!
  4. It connects you with nature, hearing and feeling the swaying of the water and, if you do it early in the morning when the sun is rising, you will have a memorable experience.
  5. If you like to do yoga, pilates… well, we will tell you that this discipline has other varieties such as SUP-PILATES that will allow you to do more physical work.
