Winds during the winter months tend to come from the north, with speeds consistently above 20 knts! Winds tend to start earlier and last longer! Still not convinced?

You won’t be going in the water in just your shorts or bikini and harness… however, you won’t need the world’s thickest wetsuit either. A maximum 4/3mm wetsuit is required during the winter months, and this might seem unnecessary even until November, with many ‘shorty’ type wetsuits seen during this month!
